The DSC Storefront and focus for the new year

Well Dimsummers, It’s been a fun ride having a storefront in the mix here at DSC. With that said, you may already know where I’m going with this. The time has come for us to move on.

We’ve been online and vending at shows and festivals since 2013, but since August 2014, the Dim Sum City Shop has been serving up original dim sum toys and Asian food themed apparel designed by yours truly from our storefront at the Chinatown Centre. First in the concourse level at unit 19C and then moving up to the 2nd floor at unit 242.

We've had a good run with a good taste at retailing through this experience, which was started more as a pop-up shop but ended up running for almost a year and a half; with much thanks of course to your support, our amazing fans and customers and my dedicated team of helpers!

We’ve determined that it’s time to focus everything online and this also let’s us spend more time focussing on producing more content and future product lines; like that animated series that’s been in the works for a while and many other projects on the go and have been waiting in the wings.

So with that said, the storefront is now closed but the DSC shop continues online with that holiday sale still going on until Dec. 31! We’re looking forward to bringing you all lots more fun with dim sum and Asian eats in the year ahead. You’ll also likely see us at several shows and festivals throughout the new year and there's no telling when we might later on start missing the storefront and open one up again. So as always, do stay ‘tooned’ for more updates!
