It’s only the middle of the summer but we’ve been quite busy going through the circuit of night markets and festivals; seven in total! Thanks to everyone who visited us at our booths and for your continued support.  It really means a lot.  But we’re not done yet. Alright, today's the day!  The T&T Waterfront Night Market is into it's 5th year and runs for three days from today July 25 to 27 with amazing unique cuisine, cool merchandise, of course ;), midway, sports zone and more!And of course, we'll be there with jumbo Har Gow and Siu Mai! Alright DSC peeps, heading to Night It Up this weekend?  So are we!  We are happy to participate again this year and we're also super excited to feature some new arrivals that will make their festival debut at our booth. As one of the most popular Asian street foods around, curry fish balls are a simple yet filling snack that packs a spicy punch. The stalls selling these amazing small eats have it made as just the aroma of curry has the power to draw in any passers-by! DSC Stuff of the week: Siu Mai Plushie!

As one half of the popular duo that is a veritable must-have at every dim sum meal, Siu Mai (燒賣), that ubiquitous pork dumpling is eaten all over the world in various delicious forms.  (The other half of the duo of course being Har Gow will be featured in a later post so stay tooned!)  The variation that we are spotlighting this week is the Cantonese Siu Mai. How amazing is it that Toronto gets it's own dim sum festival? We were so excited that this was happening, scrambled to get tickets right when their ticket site launched and even more stoked when we got to be a vendor!
